When sources disagree, publish the disagreement
Two reputable outlets can report the same funding round differently. The temptation is to pick the more convenient figure. We publish neither.

A contradiction between good sources is information — usually about how a number was scoped rather than about anyone being wrong. Resolving it silently would hide that, and would quietly make the archive the authority on something it has not verified. So the conflict renders next to the claim it affects, and the figure stays unpublished.
